In the steam generating device 20, the steam delivering tube 70 includes a water droplet separating tube section 71 vertically disposed from the steam outlet 32a of the steam pathway section 32 and closed at its upper side, and a steam taking-out tube section 72 branched from the water droplet separating tube section 71 and taking out the steam to the cooking chamber 12. The steam delivered from the steam outlet 32a of the steam pathway section 32 rises in the water droplet separating tube section 71 of the steam delivering tube 70, so that the steam partially changes to water droplet at a top section of the water droplet separating tube section 71 and falls in the water droplet separating tube section 71 and the steam pathway section 32, to be returned to the steam generating section 31 after gas-liquid separation, and the remaining part is delivered to the cooking chamber 12 through the steam taking-out tube section 72 from the water droplet separating tube section 71.
