    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely detect whether or not paper sheets of a paper bundle are lined up without being shifted, when carrying the collated paper bundle to a stopper position by a carrying roller and positioning the paper bundle.
      SOLUTION: This paper bundle positioning device is provided with a stopper 5 for determining the position of the tip of the collated paper bundle P in the carrying direction; the carrying roller 11 arranged in a position separated from the position of the stopper 5 by the length of the paper bundle P in the carrying direction and carrying the paper bundle P to the stopper 5; and a detector 8 arranged in the position opposing to the carrying roller 11 and detecting the paper bundle P carried by the carrying roller 11.
