    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle riding type vehicle which effectively utilizes a narrow space to protect a power unit.SOLUTION: A saddle riding type vehicle includes: a power unit (30) which is provided at a vehicle body frame (20) between a front wheel and a rear wheel and applies propulsion power to a vehicle; and a radiator (40) which is provided between the front wheel and the power unit (30) and radiates heat of the power unit (30) to the atmosphere. In the saddle riding type vehicle, a guard pipe (50), which protects the power unit (30) from a collision with the ground caused when the vehicle is overturned and an obstacle at the front side, is provided between the radiator (40) and the power unit (30). The guard pipe (50) which protects the power unit (30) is provided at a relatively narrow space between the radiator (40) located immediately before the power unit (30) and the power unit (30) thereby effectively utilizing the narrow space for protecting the power unit (30).
