    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure desired marketability while ensuring safety on work and safety on operation.SOLUTION: A relay control device 10 includes: a positive electrode side contactor 22 and a negative electrode side contactor 23 disposed on power lines 40p and 40n for connecting a power storage device 3 and a motor 4 that outputs a driving force for the vehicle traveling; an interlock connector 14 that is operated by an operator and makes the positive electrode side contactor 22 and the negative electrode side contactor 23 an intercept state; and a battery ECU 8 that detects the signal circuit 15C where the signal relating to a state of the interlock connector 14 flows, changing into a cut-off status. The battery ECU 8, when detecting that the signal circuit 15C has changed into the cut-off status, permits the interception of the positive electrode side contactor 22 and the negative electrode side contactor 23 based on the rotating speed of the motor 4 and the shift position of the electric vehicle 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for monitoring surrounding of vehicle in which no synchronous circuit is needed and the detection timing of a plurality of detection means can be adjusted.SOLUTION: An apparatus for monitoring surrounding of a vehicle comprises: first detection means for continually detecting object information of surrounding of a vehicle at a prescribed period, second detection means for detecting the object information of surrounding of a vehicle in a different manner from that of the first detection means at a prescribed timing; and time correction means for correcting the detection timing at which the first detection means have detected the object information within one cycle as one timing of the one cycle. The one timing within the one cycle is made to match one of predetermined timings of the second detection means.
