    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for draw-forming which reduces variation of formed dimension by suppressing the deflection of the central portion of a blank material set in a die, and an apparatus therefor.
      SOLUTION: The draw-forming method comprises a first step for obtaining the blank material 15 having an expansion zone 97 and an restraint zone 98 connected to a draw-formation zone 96, a second step for restraining the restraint zone by a first holder means 22 after setting the blank material in a metal die 12, and a third step for applying tensile force to the draw-formation zone and then restraining it by pressing the expansion zone in the shearing direction by a second holder means 23. The draw-forming apparatus 11 is equipped with the first holder means 22 to restrain an outer periphery 21 of the blank material 15 and the second holder means 23 inside the first holder means 22. A second closing and restraining position H2 of the second holder means is set at a position where a ram of the press machine is further lowered with respect to a closing and restraining position H1 of the first holder means 22.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draw forming device which restrains deflection at the center of a blank material set in a mold and minimizes dimensional variations in a formed product.
      SOLUTION: In the draw forming device 11, a blank holder 16 comprises a first retaining means 32 which binds the outermost circumference 31 of the blank material 15, and a second retaining means 33 which is placed inward of the first retaining means 32. Due to the descent of a double-acting press 17 the retaining position B1 of the first retaining means 32 is made a position where the first retaining means 32 holds the blank material 15 ahead of the second retaining means 33, and a position where the double-acting press 17 descends further is made the retaining position B2 of the second retaining means 33. A mold (cope) 27 is supported slidably by the second retaining means 33 and is placed away from an inner slider 21. The first and second retaining means 32 and 33 are fixed in an integrated manner to an outer slider 22 which is placed outward of the inner slider 21.
