    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle capable of suppressing a response delay in power transmission between an electric motor and a wheel.SOLUTION: A rear-wheel drive device 1 includes: electric motors 2A and 2B that generate the force that drives a vehicle; hydraulic brakes 60A and 60B that are provided between the electric motors 2A and 2B and rear wheels and by engaging or disengaging, connect or disconnect the motors to or from the wheels; an ECU that controls the electric motors and the hydraulic brakes; and a one-way clutch 50 that is provided in parallel with the hydraulic brakes, and engages when forward rotation power from the electric motors is input to the wheels, disengages when reverse rotation from the electric motors is input to the wheels, disengages when forward rotation from the wheels is input to the electric motors, and engages when reverse rotation from the wheels is input to the electric motors. When forward rotation from the rear wheels is input to the electric motors during traveling in which a front wheel drive device generates the drive force, the hydraulic brakes are engaged so that the electric motors are connected to the rear wheels. When the vehicle speed is a prescribed value or more in the connected state of the electric motors to the rear wheels, the engaged hydraulic brakes are released.
