    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of securing safety for persons who are caught in a shutter curtain descending in a fire while preventing a bottom strap portion of the shutter curtain from rising after the shutter curtain is closed.
      SOLUTION: A shutter curtain 1 descending and closing its opening portion during a fire comprises a sheet metal body 10 and a bottom strap portion 5 installed to a bottom end of the sheet metal body 10; a water spraying means 7 spraying water to the shutter curtain 1; and a control means 8 for controlling a descent of the shutter curtain 1 and water spraying by a water spray means 7 during a fire. The bottom strap portion 5 is so formed as to store water. The control means 8 is capable of restricting a pinching force applied to anyone by a descending shutter curtain not more than a predetermined value and also capable of preventing any occurrence of a gap created between the bottom strap portion 5 and a floor surface by means of a weight of water stored in the bottom strap portion 5 after the opening portion is fully closed.
