    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elongated object removal device of a residue carry machine, which enables a removal of an elongated object contained in residues in order to carry out the residues scraped by a dust collector smoothly. SOLUTION: The elongated object removal device 10 comprises a roller 34 loaded with the elongated object 32 transferred by a conveyor 20 and a pair of roller supports 36, 36 supporting the roller 34 in a state of a pendulum such that the roller 34 move from a loading position of the elongated object 32 to a discharge and removal position by accompanying the transfer of the elongated object 32. The elongated object 32 transferred by the conveyor 20 is projected forward from a downstream end position of the conveyor 20 to be carried by the roller 34. The elongated object 32 is projected forward ongoingly while sliding on the roller 34 by a conveyance power of the conveyor 20, and when a barycentric position G of the elongated object 32 goes beyond the roller 34, the roller 34 swings like a pendulum by the gravity of the elongated object 32 to move to the discharge and removal position. When the roller 34 carries out a swing operation, the elongated object 32 slips down along the roller 34 and is discharged to a garbage chute 54 arranged outside the conveyor 22.
