      SOLUTION: This paper sheet handling device is provided with a storage space for storing paper sheets, a paper sheet conveying means for taking and feeding paper sheets into/out of the storage space, a paper sheet guide for guiding paper sheets when taking and feeding them into/out of the storage space, a paper sheet regulating means for pressing the paper sheets in the storage space, the frame storing these means, and a collision preventing means for preventing the paper sheet regulating means from colliding with the frame. The collision preventing means is an internal wall of the frame constituting a curved part making distance between the paper sheet regulating means and the frame shorter and shorter gradually.

The upper part of the side wall of the storage box is so structured that an arrangement member is so tilted as to be separated from the stacking means upward of the storage box in the paper storing direction.
