摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the magnetic toner which has the electric resistance value (rho) adequate for image formation and is good in fluidity by thermally fusion-bonding magnetic material fine powder on the surfaces of non-magnetic material particles of grain sizes 0.5-100mu and covering these. CONSTITUTION:Non-magnetic material particles of grain sizes 0.5-100mu composed of the binder resin containing coloring agents such as carbon black, pigments, dyes, etc. are mixed with about 2-40wt% of magnetic material fine powder (simple substance or alloy such as Fe, Co, etc. of grain size about 0.01-3mu or oxide, etc. which becomes ferromagnetic materials such as CrO2) and the mixture is subjected to heat-treatment to let the magnetic material fine powder secure on the surfaces of the non-magnetic material particles, whereby the magnetic toner is provided. Here, it is desirable that the rho value of the abovementioned toner be about 10 OMEGAcm or over.

摘要： PURPOSE:To constitute an integral anisotropic permanent magnet by providing a hollow or solid cylindrical body, and by applying a magnet gradient by utilizing the formation of a hydrostatic pressure in a direct current magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A hollow or solid supporter 2 that composes a magnet roller 1, is placed in a direct current magnetic field, and a magnet gradient is applied by forming a hydrostatic pressure, thereby constituting an integral permanent magnet made by firing to form a magnetized zone 7 around the surface of the cylindrical body 2. Magnetic flux density at the surface of a nonmagnetic sleeve 3 should be high enough so that the flux produced in the magnetized zone 7 can penetrate the anisotropic permanent magnet 6 in the cylindrical body 2. By constituting the permanent magnet into an integrated solid, the surface density B of the magnetic flux becomes uniform in its longitudinal direction, as well as demagnetization coefficient respect to the magnetized zone 7 has a larger gradient at the surface which reduces low temperature demagnetization. An inside contour of the cross section of the cylindrical body 2 in this constitution has a shape which is close to a circle.
