    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in viscosity and gelation when a pigment dispersed liquid having high pigment concentration is prepared by using a dispersing device of a bead mill system and to prevent an increase in viscosity and gelation when the pigment dispersed liquid is stored.SOLUTION: The method for producing a pigment dispersed composition containing a pigment, a dispersant, a polymerizable compound and a polymerization inhibitor includes: a process for preparing a mixture containing the pigment, the dispersant, the polymerizable compound and a first polymerization inhibitor; and a process for dispersing each component of the mixture by treating the mixture with a dispersing device. The dispersing device is of a bead mill system, and adopts a circulation system as a liquid feed method of the mixture. The sealing liquid of the dispersing device contains a second polymerization inhibitor. The first and second polymerization inhibitors each contains at least one compound selected from the group comprising hindered amine compounds, nitroso-amine compounds, and quinone compounds.
