    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving system in which a suitable diversity mode can be selected in comparatively simple configuration without using a large-scaled signal processing circuit by easily achieving expansion of a reception area and enhancement of reception performance during a high-speed travel in the city with an on-vehicle broadcast receiver which receives and decodes a broadcast signal transmitted by an OFDM (orthogonal frequency division) scheme.
      SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver includes a control means for selecting and switching any one of a composite diversity mode and a selective diversity mode, and the broadcast receiving system includes a position detection means for specifying a position of the broadcast receiver and a determination means for determining whether the control means should select the composite diversity mode or the selective diversity mode based on the position information of a broadcast receiver as a result of the detection due to the position detection means.

    • PURPOSE:To make more than two passbooks so as not to be delivered, by taking partial change of a separating function at the time of delivering passbooks from a storage rack and a conveying function after delivery with each of different conveying devices, in case of a passbooks issuer available to be used at banking facilities. CONSTITUTION:A feed roller 5 is rotated counterclockwise, and a passbook at the lowermost part and a passbook at just the above are delivered to the left through a gate. The passbook at the lowermost position is delivered to a conveyor roller pair 6 and conveyed. When a tip of this passbook is detected by a sensor 30, rotation of the roller 5 is stopped. On the other hand, the passbook at the second position comes into contact with a guide part 34 and is stopped. Afterward, this passbook is passed through beneath a passbook mount 7a, pushing up a passbook 1 in a hopper 3, then it is conveyed to a lower part of the hopper 3. A roller 5a is stopped at a point that the tip of the passbook conceals a sensor 31. After the passbook is passed through each of hoppers 2, 3 and 4, these paired conveyor rollers 6a and 6b are stopped, and feed rollers 5, 5a and 5b are rotated clockwise, thus the passbook at the second position is put back to each hopper.

    • PURPOSE:To apply predetermined printing of an account number or a name to a cover in issuing a new passbook, by adding function closing the passbook in an opened state, that is, cover closing function by utilizing a page changing means. CONSTITUTION:After predetermined repeated printing is performed by a printing head 18, a passbook is fed again to a cover paper closing operation position with respect to a page changing roller 10 and a movable guide 14 is subjected to opening operation and, further, a pressure roller 4s is subjected to opening operation and, at the same time, a push roller 13 is operated so as to press the passbook to the page changing roller 10. Thereafter, the page changing roller 10 is rotationally driven to turn page and the passbook is subsequently fed to make a series of page changing operations. After page changing operation is performed the number of times necessary for closing the cover, the passbook in a closed state is fed in the direction of the printing head until the printing column of the cover reaches the lower part of the printing head 18 to perform predetermined printing of an account number or a name and, thereafter, the passbook is discharged from an insert port 2 to complete the issuing of the passbook at the tie of the transfer of the passbook.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous reading due to a printing data on the reverse side page and improve the reliability of specifying a printing position by printing an asymmetrical printing mark in a vertical direction in each line together with printing data. CONSTITUTION:For instance, a slash (/) is used as an asymmetrical printing mark in a vertical direction. A pass book 16 opened with a page to be printed is inserted through an insertion port and in the process of carriage of the said pass book with rollers 4, 5, a printing mark 18 is read by means of a pair of sensors 10 (A, B). Then the pass book is set in a position corresponding to the count value of the said readout and a desired print is carried out by means of a printing device consisting of a platen 7 and a printing head 8. In this device, the afore-mentioned asymmetrical mark is used as a printing mark 18 to be read out. That is, the asymmetrical mark (e.g. a slash) serves as an object for rejection when a print on the reverse page is seen through, because the said mark on the front side (solid line) of the pass book 16 and that on the reverse side (broken line) present inverted positions for response time from an element A and an element B composing sensor 10.

The detecting speed is compared with abnormal speed input from an abnormal speed set instrument 12, and the motor 7 is suspended when the detecting speed is lower than the abnormal speed.

    • PURPOSE:To decide the inserting direction of a bankbook by providing a means for detecting a magnetic stripe of the bankbook. CONSTITUTION:When a bankbook 9 whose page to be printed is opened is inserted from a bankbook insertion port 1, a page mark is read by a sensor 10, and whether it is a correct page or not is checked. When the opened page is a different page, the bankbook 9 is discharged from the insertion port 1 and its fact is displayed on a guidance part 29. On the other hand, when page information of the opened page does not exist in prescribed page information, it is decided that the upper part and the lower part of the bankbook 9 are reversed or the surface and the reverse side are reversed, and the following operations are executed. Subsequently, carrying rollers 2-4 are driven so that a normal magnetic stripe position of the bankbook 9 and a magnetic head 11 coincide with each other. In this case, it is decided that when information is read by the head 11, the upper part and the lower part are reversed, and when such information is not read, the surface and the reverse side are reversed, and the bankbook 9 is discharged, and simultaneously, its fact is displayed on the guidance part 29. In such a way, when the bankbook is inserted into an erroneous inserting direction, the contents of an error can be displayed, therefore, at the time of re- inserting the bankbook, an error of the inserting direction can be prevented.
