    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core that is used for a rotor of an electric motor or a stator of the electric motor and capable of improving strength; and to provide its manufacturing method, the rotor of the electric motor, the stator of the electric motor, and the electric motor using the core.
      SOLUTION: The core 10 is used for the rotor of the electric motor or the stator of the electric motor, and comprises a core formed body 12 which is made by forming by compression magnetic particles having an insulating thin film on the surface of metallic grains containing a ferromagnetic element, and an amorphous thin film 14. The amorphous thin film is formed on the surface of the stress concentrated portion 12b of the core formed body. The core manufacturing method has a step of raising the temperature of the core formed body before spraying the amorphous metallic powder, when amorphous metallic powder is sprayed and arranged in a layer to form the amorphous thin film on the core formed body. The rotor of the electric motor, the stator of the electric motor, and the electric motor are the ones using the core.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft magnetic alloy consolidation object suitable for a motor core in an electric car or a hybrid car, a method for fabrication thereof, and a molding die for use in the same.
      SOLUTION: A soft magnetic alloy consolidation object is formed by compressing at least one type of amorphous alloy powder. The amorphous alloy powder contains an insulator film on its surface and its average grain diameter ranges from 5 to 400 μm. A method for fabricating the soft magnetic alloy consolidation object comprises a step (1) for forming the insulator film on the surface of each amorphous alloy powder having an average grain diameter from 5 to 400 μm and a step (2) for compressing and forming the powder obtained in step (1). Fig. 1 (b) shows a discharge plasma sintering molding die 10b to be used when the soft magnetic alloy consolidation object is fabricated through discharge plasma sintering. The molding die includes a current-carrying part and other parts and an electric conductivity in the current-carrying part is higher than that in the other parts.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft magnetic alloy consolidation object capable of being preferably used as a magnetic core for a motor for an electric automobile, a hybrid car or the like, and to provide a manufacturing method for the soft magnetic alloy consolidation object. SOLUTION: The soft magnetic alloy consolidation object is manufactured by treating at least one kind of amorphous alloy powder by a pressure molding. In the compact, the amorphous alloy powder of 50 to 99 vol.% has an insulator film on its surface while using the whole volume of the amorphous alloy powder as a reference, and the amorphous alloy powder of 1 to 50 vol.% does not have the insulator film on its surface in the amorphous alloy powder. The manufacturing method contains a process (1) in which powder having no insulator film on the surface of the amorphous alloy powder and powder having the insulator film on the surface of the amorphous alloy powder are mixed so that each content reaches 1 to 50 vol.% and 50 to 99 vol.%, while using the whole volume of the amorphous alloy powder as the reference.
