    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of recording information in a recording medium and of reproducing the information from the recording medium, and further to provide a recording/reproducing method thereof.SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus comprises a turntable, a servo information providing mechanism and a recording/reproducing section. The turntable rotates a recording medium including recording layers along a surface where the recording layers extend. The servo information providing mechanism is provided on a surface opposite to the recording layers of the recording medium on the turntable and provides servo information used for recording information in the recording medium or for reproducing the information from the recording medium. The recording/reproducing section irradiates the recording layers of the recording medium with light having a first wavelength and light having a second wavelength different from the light having the first wavelength from a side opposite to the turntable.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable recording and reproduction of data with a high speed.SOLUTION: An information recording and reproducing device includes a light source, a first objective lens, a second objective lens, a driving unit, a first control unit, a second control unit, and a light receiving unit. The light source projects a light bundle to an information recording medium having a plurality of information recording layers. The first objective lens collects a light bundle from a first light soure on a first information recording layer to form a first light spot. The driving unit moves the first and second objective lenses in a first direction being a vertical direction with respect to a direction of recording information in a track and showing a direction on an information recording layer surface, and in a second direction showing a lamination direction of the information recording layers. The first control unit restores positional deviation of the first light spot from a target track to the target track along the first direction. The second control unit controls a movement direction of the position of the second light spot in the second direction. The light receiving unit receives each of reflection light beams being the light bundles reflected at the first and second information recording layers.
