    • PURPOSE:To remove the floated substance with high intensity radiation amount on the water surface of a nuclear reactor by adsorbing the said floated substance to a magnetic mat through the mechanism wherein the water within a pressure vessel of a nuclear reactor is directly contacted with a magnetic mat. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a periodic inspection of a nuclear reactor, the minute floated substance with high intensity irradiation amount fioated on the reactor water within an opened pressure vessel is contacted with the magnet sheet formed by blending and molding a magnetic powder material such as barium ferrite and the like and a binding material such as a plastics and the like. Thereby, the floated substance is adsorbed to the adsorbing surface by the magnetic character of the magnet sheet and can be removed. Therefore, the floated substance with high intensity irradiation amount can be simply and easily removed and the pollutant diffusion may be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To enable removal or recovery of floating matter in a liquid without transfer of the liquid. CONSTITUTION:The device comprises an airtight float 14 of which the airtightness is adjusted by an air hose 15; a main body or container 2 which floats around a filtration water level 1 through the function of the float 14; openings 3 arranged around the upper liquid surface level for taking up the floating matter; a filter 4 for filtering the floating matter taken up; and a pump 8 for sucking in the filtrate through a suction port 6 and returning it to the filtration water through a discharge port 10, discharge pipe 11, and a water discharge port 13 formed in a sparger 12. The filter 4 comprises a pair of screen meshes 421A and 422A sandwitching a membrane filter 43A; a water conduit groove layer having a pair of water conduit grooves 441A and 422A sandwitching the meshes; and a pair of support plates 41A and 41B sandwitching the layer.
