摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a storage system to control both the number of commands to be started per unit time and a response time of each command to be started, depending on the priority order of the commands.
SOLUTION: The storage system 110 includes a queue corresponding to each priority of a command, and a start order control unit. A command received by the storage system from a host computer is stored in a queue corresponding to a priority specified from the command. The start order control unit decides, for each queue, the number of commands to be started among a plurality of commands stored in the queue based on the priority corresponding to the queue. The start order control unit decides the order of starting the commands so that the mean value of logical response time of the commands is smaller as the priority of a queue is higher on the basis of the number of start commands decided for each queue. The start commands are started according to the decided start order.
