    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect recovery from a failure determined due to access failure of an access controller to an external device different from a host device by a method different from detection based on the input of information from a human being. SOLUTION: An access controller is provided with a first interface(IF) for receiving an access request from a host device and a second IF for performing access to each of one or more access destination candidates in external equipment. When the access request has been received by the first IF, the second IF tries to access the prescribed access destination candidate, and when recovery from access failure is determined, such a determination result as recovery is outputted.
