SOLUTION: The display device is obtained by bonding a front face of a display panel (1) and an optical filter (4) with a tacky adhesion layer (3). In this process, a hydrophilic film (2) is provided between the tacky adhesion layer (3) and the display panel (1). As the hydrophilic film is formed on the display panel, wettability of the tacky adhesive or adhesive constituting the bonding layer is improved. Therefore, when the optical filter is stuck to the display panel with the tacky adhesion layer, intrusion of air to the bonding face is suppressed and production of air bubbles is reduced.
