    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for collecting a nucleic acid, capable of quickly and readily collecting the nucleic acid having high purity without lowering yield from a material containing the nucleic acid.
      SOLUTION: The method for collecting a nucleic acid comprises the first process of accelerating isolation of the nucleic acid from a material containing the nucleic acid, the second process of mixing the isolated nucleic acid with a substance accelerating bonding of the nucleic acid to a solid phase, the third process of bringing the resultant mixed solution into contact with a nucleic acid-bondable solid phase, the fourth process of separating the solid phase from the liquid, the fifth process of cleaning the solid phase bonded with the nucleic acid by using a solution containing a salt and the sixth process of eluting the nucleic acid from the solid phase. By the method, a nucleic acid having a purity suitable for a genetic screening or a genetic analysis can be quickly and readily collected without using any hazardous substance.

A compensation heater 9 controlled by a temperature compensator controller 8 compensates a corresponding heat value transferred from a holder 1 already in the temperature-adjusting chamber 5 to a new holder sent newly into the temperature-adjusting chamber 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and automatically separate genes and nucleic acid from an organism sample containing the genes and the nucleic acid by dissolving gems and virus in the sample, liberating the pieces of the genes and the nucleic acid, and allowing them to adhere to a solid surface. SOLUTION: A sample tube 7 for dissolving germs where a reagent is added is retained for a fixed amount of time, and then a sample is moved to a sample tube 8 for extraction by a dispensing nozzle where a disposable breathing filter built-in tip is fitted. A fixed amount of magnetic fine particles being covered with crystal is added to the sample, and further a chaotropic agent is added. A permanent magnet where the magnetic fine particles are installed at a lower portion is raised, is allowed to adhere to the bottom of a tube, and is collected at the bottom of the tube. Then, a washing liquid is dispensed for washing using a dispensing nozzle where a disposable pipet tip is fitted and finally a small amount of sterilization pure water is added to a sample tube 8, thus dissolving and separating DNA being sucked on the surface of crystal. The dissolved and separated DNA is sucked by a disposable breathing filter built-in tip and is moved to an extraction tube 9 for nucleic acid. The DNA thus obtained is used for each analysis method.
