    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a damping quantity of a train detecting signal when a train exists on a line reduces, due to occurrence of mutual guidance between inherent rails in a three-wire track circuit, when applying a track circuit for monitoring an electric signal made to flow in the rail by a transmitter and a receiver connected to the rail, detecting the existence of the train from a phenomenon of reducing a receiving level by electrically short-circuiting between the two rails by a wheel shaft of the train, and transmitting a train control signal to a train to the three-wire track circuit having the rails shared by two kinds of trains different in gauge.
      SOLUTION: A train detecting device detects a train existing line by recognizing the kind of two kinds of trains by the respective transmitter and receiver respectively connected to the three rails. Damping quantity reduction of the train detecting signal when the train exists on the line is restrained by restraining a mutual guiding characteristic between the rails, by arranging a filter set so that only the signal to an input stage of the respective receivers is passed and impedance becomes high in the other signal band.
