    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side panel structure for an elevator car capable of being simplified and improving work efficiency and design properties.
      SOLUTION: In this side panel structure for the elevator car 1, a plurality of side panels 2 mounted to a car frame are sequentially connected with each other to form a wall 1a of the car 1. The side panels 2 are divided into a plurality of structures 21 mounted to the car frame and having bending parts 20 with approximately U-shaped cross sections and a plurality of surface panels 23 having inserting parts 22 fitted to the bending parts 20. By fitting the inserting parts 22 to the bending parts 20, the surface panels 23 are mounted to the structures 21 from inside of a cage, to form the wall 1a in which the surface panels 23 adjacent to each other form the approximately same surface.
