    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a data processing time in analyzing data through the use of a plurality of computers. SOLUTION: The data are analyzed by a data analyzing method with the use of a master 101 and a plurality of slaves 109. The master 101 divides the data having a plurality of analysis problems into layers, and divides the respective layers into jobs which include at least one analysis program. The master 101 holds the list of flags which indicate the analysis problem where evaluation can be omitted and transmits the list to the whole slaves 109 before starting the processing of one layer. The slave 109 selectively evaluates the analysis problem with referring to information of the list which is received from the master 101, updates the list through the use of the processing result, and transmits the updated list to the master 101. SOLUTION: Data analysis processing is carried out by using one master 0101 and a plurality of slaves 0109 connected through a communication path 0110. In this data analysis processing, the master 0101 divides the data analysis problem into the larger number of partial problems(jobs) than the number of the slaves 0109, and assigns those jobs to the slaves. The slaves 0109 process the jobs assigned from the master 0101, and store the processing results in the slaves, and repeats the processing to request the jobs to the master until the assignment of the jobs from the master stops.
