    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor controller that makes it easy to secure a coaxial property of a stator and a rotor of an electric motor. SOLUTION: This electric motor controller is equipped with a drive shaft 18 provided freely rotatably, a rotor 19 provided at the outside circumferential side of the drive shaft, a stator 21 provided at the outside circumference of the rotor with a small gap and on which a coil 20 is wound, a control circuit 14 that supplies electric power required for the coil, a first housing 11 that has a first retaining portion 23 by which one end side of the axial direction of the stator is retained, and a second housing 12 that has a second retaining portion 22 into which the other end side of the axial direction of the stator is press-fixed. A tightening margin for the stator is formed on the first retaining portion. Also, a leading-in portion is formed in a prescribed range in the axial direction from the opening end of a first storing portion.
