    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell package having air cleaning capability to allow a fuel cell body to operate stably and safety for a long period.
      SOLUTION: The fuel cell package 1 is shaped like a rectangular solid and incorporates a fuel cell 2, a reformer 3 and an air blower 4. An air filter 5 for taking in air from the atmosphere is provided at a surface that is largest in area among the peripheral surfaces constituting the rectangular-solid-shaped fuel cell package 1. Since the air filter for taking in air necessary for the fuel cell is provided at the surface of the package having the largest area, it is possible to prolong the life of the air filter and to thereby eliminate the need for maintenance of the air filter.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate type fuel cell of which deterioration of generation performance and lifetime is suppressed and which has a long life. SOLUTION: The unit cell 6 is constructed of an electrolyte 1, a gas separator 5 which guides a fuel gas to an anode 2 provided on one face of the electrolyte 1 and guides an oxidizer gas to a cathode 3 provided on the other face, and a seal material 4 which prevents gas leakage of the gas separator 5. Furthermore, a cooling separator 7 for cooling the unit cell 6 by a cooling medium is provided. A flowing in/flowing out hole 8 which penetrates these laminated bodies is provided, and the fuel gas and the oxidizer gas, or the cooling medium are supplied from this flowing in/flowing out hole 8 to the anode 2, cathode 3 or cooling medium separator 7, or exhausted from it. An insulating guide 7 provided so as to cover each end face of the gas separator 5 and the cooling separator 7 at the flowing in/flowing out hole is inserted into the flowing in/flowing out hole 8.
