    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitter for track circuits that prevents output of an unnecessary frequency component during a transition of a signal transmitting state.SOLUTION: A transmitter for track circuits 1 includes: an ATC signal output control unit 3; an ATC carrier wave generator 4; a selector 6 that selects in response to an instruction 5, which is received from the ATC signal output control unit 3, whether or not to output an input signal received from the ATC carrier wave generator 4; a modulator 8 that performs frequency modulation according to ATC information 7 to be sent from the ATC signal output control unit 3; a level adjuster 10 that adjusts an output level in response to an instruction 9 received from the ATC signal output control unit 3; an amplifier 11 that amplifies the power of an output of the level adjuster 10; a voltage sensing unit 13 that senses an output voltage of an output signal and outputs the output voltage as voltage feedback information 12; and a current sensing unit 15 that senses an output current of the output signal and outputs the output current as current feedback information 14. Transmission of a signal is ceased or initiated via the level adjuster, whereby output of an unnecessary frequency component is prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an on-train control device of a train to surely detect whether train control information received on the train is original track circuit transmission information, in a train control information transmission system wherein non-insulated track circuits are mixed with insulated track circuits.SOLUTION: When a train enters into a hemi-insulated track circuit becoming a boundary to an insulated track circuit from a non-insulated track circuit, transmission timing of a train control signal to the hemi-insulated track circuit is set based on its entry timing and transmission timing setting information set in an insulated track circuit adjacent to the hemi-insulated track circuit. A transmitter creates track circuit transmission data with train control information for controlling the train and train control detection data for detecting the train control information added thereto based on the train control information received from a terrestrial control device and the transmission timing setting information to be transmitted to the hemi-insulated track circuit. The on-train control device detects train control information from the track circuit transmission data by using the train control information detection data.

The ATC monitor employs a scanning method using the relay control for specifying a failure of the track circuit and a fault device. When the both are matched as a result of comparison, the ATC signal is output to a track circuit through the D/A and a power amplifier, and when the both are mismatched, output of the ATC signal is stopped.
