    • PURPOSE:To obtain initial seal performance of packing seal surface even in a state without mater pressure before pool water billing by providing a seal plate to block pool water and pushing a gate main body with a multitude of rubber pad to the pool wall. CONSTITUTION:A pushing mechanism 6 having a rubber pad 11 at the front end is put between a stopper 12 and a fixing pipe 13 and is fixed to a gate main body 2. A penetration hole is provided in the stopper 12 and the pipe 13 to push the main body 2 with the pool 11 to the pool wall 5. Also a seal plate 17 is fixed by melding to the seal part of the pool wall 5 perpendicularly to the wall 5 and the surface of a packing 4 is attached to the front to seal the pool water 3. That is, after placing the pool gate 1 and connecting the coupling 17 fixed to the mechanism 6 with an air unit 15, a pump in the unit 15 is started. Then the inside of the pad 11 is made negative pressure through the pipe 16 to push the main body 2 to the wall 5. By this, the packing 4 and the plate 17 contact each other and initial seal performance is obtained.

    • PURPOSE: To uniformly and closely adhere a packing to the wall of a pool by using a gate arm provided to pool gate, fitting bolts, and the slope of a horn provided to the pool wall and utilizing the weight of the pool gate and the clamping force of the bolts.
CONSTITUTION: Gate arms 2 are attached to both sides of a pool gate 1, a dead weight 4 is attached to a position away from a packing 3 at the lower part of the gate 1, and a swing bolt 6 is attached to a position toward pool water side 10 from the center of the gate arm 2. Also, a horn 7 is attached to the pool wall 8. On the other hand, the pool gate 1 is hung down along the gate wall 8, the gate arm 2 is placed on the slope of the horn 7 and slipped down from the slope by its weight, the packing 3 is closely contacted with pool wall 8, and the swing bolt 6 is further clamped. Thus, the packing 3 can be uniformly and closely attached to the pool wall 8.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous detection due to condensed water, in the detection of the pool lining, which has a structure wherein a steel plate is lined on a concrete wall interposed by a ground material, by connecting a leakage detecting groove at each place, and flowing dry air. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate 11 is attached to a concrete wall 1 interposed by a ground material 12 with a leakage detecting groove 7 by welding. The leakage detecting groove 7 in each ground material 12 at the upper part of a pool wall 2 is connected to a trough 20 by way of a communicating hole 21. The groove is communicated to the next trough 20 by a pipe 22. Water from the groove 7 passes through a leakage-detection collecting pipe 8, which is provided in every leakage detecting area 5, and collected to drain receiving port 10 through a flow glass 9. Thus the presence or absence of the leakage is detected. Since the grooves 7 are connected by the flow glass 9 for every leakage detecting area 5, the condensed water yielded in the grooves 7 can be dried and removed by feeding dry air from a dry air feeding device 14 through one inlet port and exhausting the air from another port.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately and early detect the leak position of a stored liquid from lining welded parts by a detector which makes monitoring with a leak detecting port tube provided outside of a lining tank. CONSTITUTION:At the outerside of a welded part 12 of a liner plate 11 constituting a lining tank 10, a leak detection tube 20 is provided to cover the welded part and it is partitioned into plural parts so that the leak position may be easily determined. A plurality of conduits 40 are connected between the lowermost parts of the leak detection tube 20 and a leak detecting port tube 30 provided outside of the lining tank 10. Apparatus are buried in concretes or so together with iron reinforcing rods 50 as a structural frame for the lining tank. When leaked through the welded part of the lining tank, a stored liquid is moved into the lowermost part of the leak detection tube corresponding to the leak location and then naturally transferred to the leak detecting port tube 30 to be accummulated therein. The accummulated leak liquid can be easily identified by visual inspection, a float with an alarm, survey utilizing property (e.g. radioactivity) of the stored liquid, etc.
