    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To almost completely capture microorganism in a fluid and efficiently decompose and disinfect the captured microorganism by coating the surface of a hollow fiber membrane having a large number of fine holes in the surface and the inner faces of the fine holes with a material composing an electrode. SOLUTION: The surface of a hollow fiber membrane 1 having a large number of micropores 2 in the surface and the inner faces of the fine holes 2 are coated with a material 3 composing an electrode to form an electrode having a vast surface area. In this case, resin fibers such as polypropylene, polyethylene, and the likes are used for the material for the hollow fiber membrane 1. Moreover, gold, silver, stainless steel, carbon, and the likes are used as the material 3 comprising an electrode to be used for coating the surface of the hollow fiber membrane 1 and respective materials are selected based on the use conditions. Further, a plating method, an evaporation method, and the likes are employed for coating the hollow fiber membrane 1 with the material 3 composing an electrode. Furthermore, it is the most preferable that the surface of the hollow fiber membrane 1 and the inner faces of the micropores 2 are completely coated with the material 3 composing an electrode and based on the situation, either one of the surface and the inner faces may be coated.

Tn this case, the ion exchange resin 30 to be used is adopoted as a sodium strong acid positive ion exchange resin where an ion exchange radical is chemically connected to a bridged three-dimensional high-molecular substrate and water is supplied to the washing tank through it by more than 10 L per minute.

As the result, the cassette 2 is smoothly inserted through a cassette positioning guide pin 55 provided on the chassis 8.

    • PURPOSE:To increase dewatering power, by a method wherein the inner wall of a dewatering tub is made of a hydrophilic material having a specific contact angle between the material and water, so as to reduce the moisture content of the objects to be dewatered near the wall, without forming ruggedness on the inner wall of the dewatering tub. CONSTITUTION:In a washing and dewatering machine, the inner wall 29 of a washing tub 5 is made of a hydrophilic material such as polyvinylpyrrolidone or nylon. Consequently, the contact angle between the material of the wall and water does not exceed 40 deg. so as to increase the hydrophilic nature, the capillary potential of the object to be dewatered is canceled or decreased by the fine clearance made between the wall and the fibers, water contained in the washing near the wall is activated to move apart, and dewatering power is increased. Dewatering holes 6... are drilled in the wall of the washing tub 5 and water is discharged through the dewatering holes 6... during the dewatering operation. The washing tub 5 is turned by the power of a motor 15 through a motor pulley 16, a belt 17, a driven pulley 18, and a speed reducer 19, and has a balancing ring 7 for assuring smooth turning.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent image quality from being deteriorated caused by the splash of toner by providing an attraction device that an gap between the bottom plate of a developing device and the base of the developing device fixed to a main body is used as a ventilation path and disposing a filter to one part of the ventilation path. CONSTITUTION:Airtightness between the upper part and the both side parts of the developing device 4 and a photosensitive drum 1 is maintained by a seal member 21. In the lower part of the device 4, one part of the base 22 of the developing device which is also used as a partition to a power source room 15 is opened 23. Besides, the filter 24 is loaded to the aperture part 23 freely attachably and detachably. Then, the toner splashed from the lower part of the device 4 is attracted by a power source room cooling fan 14 from the gap between the base 22 and the bottom plate of the device 4. Thus, the suspending toner occurring in a developing part is scavenged by the filter 24 without splashing it in the device. Besides, the stable image quality is maintained.
