摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a method for easily selecting an especially desired image to be used out of plural images and superimposing the selected image. CONSTITUTION:A picture-in-picture circuit 60 is provided as a means to display video signals from a camera and a storage device 8 in addition to a recording path as master and slave pictures, and a title picture can be superimposed after arbitrarily selected and confirmed. Therefore, since the video signals from the camera and the superimpose signals are displayed as the master and slave pictures on a display screen provided in addition to the recording path, the signals can be confirmed regardless of whether recording exists or not, and since recording is enabled after confirmation, no malfunction occurs.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable precise estimation of presence or absence of dew condensation on the surface of a desired member by determining the propriety of existence of steam every time when the temperature of the surface and the temperature of air around it are detected. CONSTITUTION:Detection signals in accordance with measured temperatures outputted from temperature sensors 1 and 2 are subjected to A/D conversion 5 and 6 and sent to an arithmetic device 7. In the device 7, the data on the average humidity in the country in this period which are obtained on the basis of materials of the Meteorological Agency are selected from humidity curve data stored. Then, the quantity of water in the air of 1g at the current time point is computed from the measured temperature data from the sensor 1 and the current humidity curve data. Based on the measured temperature data from the sensor 2 and the humidity curve data wherein the humidity is 100%, subsequently, it is determined whether or not the humidity is 100% or above in regard to the quantity of water resulted from the computation, when the temperature of the air is that measured by the sensor 2.

摘要： PURPOSE:To replace an old signal with a new signal gradually at a joint and to attain a consecutive recording without a sense of incompatibility by adding the old signal from a memory and the new signal from an input terminal as level-changing them respectively and writing it into a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A preceding reading head 3a reads out the old signal already recorded at the time of the consecutive recording, it is once accumulated in a memory 4, after a prescribed time, it is synchronized with a video signal inputted from a video signal input terminal 5 and outputted from the memory 4. As the levels of an output signal from the memory 4 and the video signal from the input terminal 5 are respectively changed by attenuators 6 and 7, they are added by an adder 8 and written into the recording medium by a writing head 36. Consequently, at the joint, almost all is the old signal first, as time passes, the level of the new signal becomes larger and the level of the old signal becomes smaller gradually and in the end, almost all becomes the new signal. Thus, at the joint, the old signal is replaced with the new signal gradually and the consecutive recording without the sense of incompatibility can be attained.

In the using it as record-only machine, the camera shooting can be done by separating the VTR section 1 from the power source adaptor 2. The unit weight for recording use only is hence reduced by the weight of the motor and motor driver because these are comparatively heavy.
