    • PURPOSE:To obtain a laser controller for stable and high quality picture output by varying laser light amount based on the information from a laser light amount monitor means, a printer temperature detecting means and a photosensitivity setting means for the purpose of stabilization of a residual potential of the photosensitive body required to obtain a stable picture quality output. CONSTITUTION:The laser light amount of a driven laser light source 201 is converted into an electric signal by a monitor element 202 provided in the vicinity of the laser light source 201 in a laser light source section 200, and a light amount monitor signal is inputted to an inverting input of a comparator 107 via an amplifier 106. The comparator 107 feeds back a light amount decision signal to a main controller. The comparator 110 returns a temperature decision signal to the main controller. Thus, the main controller detects the temperature of the laser light light source section 200. In the exposure process, it is required to control the surface potential of the photosensitive body to be exposed to a constant value independently of the printer cabin temperature. Then the laser light amount is changed according to the printer cabin temperature.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption, and also to shorten the first print time by executing a suitable power supply to a heat fixing device, a deflecting device, etc. through a process control device in accordance with an operating state of a printer. CONSTITUTION:When a printing signal is applied to a laser beam printer from a host control device 2, a signal processing device 3 outputs a pseudo start signal which becomes a printing start signal, irrespective of the contents of said printing signal, and supplies it to a process control means 4. As a result, the means 4 sets a beam deflecting means 6 to an operating state, and simultaneously, raises a temperature of a heat fixing device 7 to a working temperature. On the other hand, in case when the printing start signal is not inputted with a set time after the pseudo start signal has been supplied, or in case when printing is ended, a temperature of the device 7 is set to the operating temperature or below through the device 4, and also the device 6 becomes a non-operating state. In this way, by executing a suitable power supply to the heat fixing device and the deflecting device whose power consumption is large, the power consumption is reduced, and the first print time can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To lower the temperature of hot air necessary for regeneration of absorbent while effectively recover the heat released at dehydration reaction by a constitution wherein a dehydrating part and a sensible heat exchange part for recovery of the heat released at dehydration reaction are made into an integral body. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchange type absorptive dehydration part 5 is formed by laminating corrugated finned heat exchange parts 6 and porous humidity exchange parts 7 one upon the other. In other words, the part 5 is so constituted that treated air system a flows longitudinally in the direction as indicated with the solid lines with an arrow and absorbent system c flows longitudinally in the direction as indicated with the dash-and-dot lines with an arrow through the humidity exchange part 7, while regenerating air system b flows transversely in the route as indicated with the dash lines with an arrow through the heat exchange part 6. Owing to the constitution as described above, because the absorbent, the absorbing power of which has decreased by absorbing the water within the treated air, is cooled by the regenerating air and dehydrated and the heat released at dehydration reaction is recovered by the regenerating air, the effective utilization of energy can be realized.

    • PURPOSE:To generate a print signal including respective patterns of coded graphic and character by storing a graphic pattern in a coded print information signal by a graphic pattern dot signal, reading the signal when a printer reaches a graphic pattern print position and synthesizing the signal with the character pattern dot signal. CONSTITUTION:A graphic code in a coded print information signal 2 is stored in a graphic pattern memory 16 and other information is stored in a page buffer 13 and the print position information of the graphic pattern is stored in a print control circuit 17 at the same time. When a CPU 14 stores a character code by one line from the buffer 13 to a line buffer 18, the circuit 17 gives a character code in the buffer 18 to a read circuit 19, and reads the character pattern dot signal in the unit of raster from the character generator 20. The signal and the graphic pattern dot signal read in the unit of raster from the memory 16 after the circuit 17 detects the print position are synthesized by a synthesis circuit 22 to output a print signal.

    • PURPOSE: To decrease the processing time by fetching only an area to be synthesized of a picture signal not coded to be synthesized with a coded character and graphic data to apply signal processing.
CONSTITUTION: Only the region synthesizing an HSY signal representing a picture data print region P1 in the main scanning direction H and a VSY signal representing the picture print region P1 in the sub-scanning direction V is made effective and the picture data is fetched only an area to be synthesized. Thus, the picture data to be generated is enough for the said region's share and the processing time is decreased.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a moisture conditioner capable of maintaining a favorable moisture condition of air for a long period of time and permitting an adjustment of humidification amount and dehumidification amount as required, by a method wherein a base material for moisture conditioning is rotated with a part thereof immersed in an adsorbent held in a container so as to replenish the adsorbent.
CONSTITUTION: The moisture conditioning base material 3 to be impregnated with an absorbent solution 6 is formed into the shape of a looped belt, is rotatably supported by rotary shafts 12a, 12b and is rotated by a motor 2 under the condition where a lower end part of the base material 3 is immersed in the adsorbent solution 6 in an adsorbent container 5. Air is introduced via an air intake port 4 by a blower 11, is passed while contacting with the base material 3 and is discharged via an air discharging port 9 as dry air. Even when the absorbent solution in the base material 3 flows downward after absorbing the moisture present in air during dehumidification, and also even when the solution in the base material becomes more concentrated as a result of discharging moisture into air during humidification, an initial dehumidification amount or humidification amount can be maintained for a long period of time.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease of the quantity of toner transferring from a developing device to a photosensitive body by detecting a period when the printing density is lowered by the excessive stirring of developer at the initial stage of developing process and making the replenishing quantity of toner in such a period larger than that in ordinary development. CONSTITUTION:By detecting the period when the charge of a latent image on the surface of a photosensitive body 1 is electrically neutralized with smaller quantity of toner 7 than that in the ordinary development and the printing density is lowered by the excessive stirring of the developer at the initial stage of the developing process, the replenishing quantity of the toner 7 in such a period is made larger than that in the ordinary development. Then, new toner which is not stirred and electrostatically charged is replenished and the ratio of the excessively stirred toner in the developing device 12 is decreased. The change of the latent image on the surface of the photosensitive body is electrically neutralized with smaller quantity of toner than that in the ordinary development, so that the decrease of the quantity of toner is prevented.
