    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring apparatus and monitoring system in which, even when an image captured at a dark place such as at nighttime without radiating illumination light is displayed, a monitoring target can be clearly identified.
      SOLUTION: In a conventional apparatus, since imaging is performed at a dark place (within a monitor field of view) such as at nighttime without radiating illumination light, visible light cannot be sufficiently obtained and even when imaging is performed, color reproduction is difficult. The monitoring apparatus and monitoring system includes: a thermal detection sensor for detecting a temperature difference within the monitoring field of view, detecting an area having a predetermined temperature difference or more as a monitoring target object, and outputting positional information of the monitoring target object; a light source for irradiating the monitoring target object with three laser beams of different wavelengths in a near infrared region based on the positional information; and an electronic multiplication-type CCD camera for imaging reflection light from the monitoring target object to produce a pseudo color image for each of wavelengths of the three laser beams.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sighting device of a laser transmitter capable of specifying an actual point to which the shot laser beam reaches, and definitely correcting the pointing direction, in a shooting training device using the laser beam as a nonvisible light.
      SOLUTION: A telescopic sight 15 is mounted on the laser transmitter 11 and an image pick-up device 16 is mounted in parallel. A control section 12 shoots the laser beam as the nonvisible light from the laser transmitter 11 to a target 13 when an irradiation switch 14 is operated, an image in the target direction is picked up by the image pick-up device 16, the image is memorized in a memory 17 to manipulate the image, and the image is displayed on a monitor device 18 with a hitting point of the laser beam. When the hitting point of the laser beam is deviated from the target 13, the laser beam shooting direction of the laser transmitter 11 is corrected on the basis of the deviation.
