    • PURPOSE:To check the reversing flow of oil by disposing a hollow section which has a different pipe diameter and has a hollow ball in it in a pipe route connecting a vacuum container and a vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION:In a joint between an upper pipe 6 which is a vacuum pipe connecting a vacuum tank and a vacuum pump and a lower pipe 7, an outer jacket 13 is disposed which has an inner diameter far larger than the inner diameter of said pipes. Inside the jacket 13, a hollow float made in a spherical configuration of thin metal is riding on the lower pipe 7. When the vacuum pump is actuated, the air passes through multiple holes having a sufficiently large diameter drilled in the lower pipe 7 to expel the air from the vacuum container. When the oil fills the jacket 13 by the reversing flow, the float 8 is buoyed upward to be pressed against the spherical segment 11 on the upper pipe 6 to check the reversing flow.

    • PURPOSE: To suppress the vibration of the titled rotor due to the movement plus the change of free surface of liquid and to stabilize and speed up the rotor by getting rid of air incorporated in the inside of a centrifugal separation rotor.
CONSTITUTION: Air 18 existing in a central part of a core inside chamber 13 is induced into a pouring chamber 10 through a lateral hole 19 of a disk 16 fixed by a screw 20 via a central hole 17 provided to a core 2 and entered to an impeller chamber 9 to draw off. Since a separation liquid is allowed to collide against a top surface of the disk 16 and directed to a pouring hole by the centrifugal force, it is not returned to the lateral hole 19 of the disk 16. Thereby the rotor is speeded up in a more stable state.

    • PURPOSE: To always keep a proper separation state, by controlling a supply amount and a suction amount so as to always hold the boundary surface of a supernatant liquid and a precipitate layer between two optical sensors by detecting said boundary surface by said sensors.
CONSTITUTION: A reflective surface 28 is formed to the surface of the lower side core 3 of a supernatant liquid inflow part 27 and a pair of optical sensors 25, 26 are provided to the under surface of a support 15 above said core 3 to detect the reflected light from the reflective surface 28. When a specimen is supplied into a rotor body 1 by an injection pump 20, the solid substance therein is precipitated in the rotor outer peripheral chamber 4 by centrifugal force while supernatant water is flowed into a container 24 from an arranged pipe 19 through a passage 6. When the precipitate is accumulated to the part directly under the outside optical sensor 26, a detection light amount is abruptly decreased and, therefore, the precipitate is sucked by operating a suction pump 21 to be emitted into a container 22. When the precipitate is too much and the reflected light of the optical sensor 25 is decreased, the injection pump 20 is stopped. When a state capable of detecting light by the sensor 25 is brought, the pumps 20, 21 are again operated.

    • PURPOSE: To attain to further accerelate the speed of a centrifugal separator without enlarging the capacity of a motor, by providing a pivot bearing to the lowermost part of a rotor while arranging a bearing to an elongated iron wire part.
CONSTITUTION: The rotor 1 rotated by a high frequency motor 12 is supported by a pivot bearing 24 and a slide bearing 6 while one or more of slide bearing 6 is arranged to a fine iron wire 2 provided to the upper part of the rotor 1. By this mechanism, because the entire mechanical loss of a centrifugal separator is reduced, the speed accerelation thereof is further achieved without enlarging the capacity of the drive source thereof.

    • PURPOSE: To enhance the accuracy of temperature control and to enable high- accuracy separation, by putting a freezer into an ON state with proper use of a device for generating an ON-OFF signal on the basis of the magnitude of a rotor temperature-detecting signal and another device for generating an ON-OFF signal having predetermined time intervals.
CONSTITUTION: When an ON-OFF signal (a) on the basis of a temperature-detecting signal 21 is at an ON level, a heater relay turns into ON to put a heater into an ON state. When the signal is at an OFF level, an output from an inverter 24 turns into an On level. When an ON-OFF signal (b) from a freezer relay signal-generating circuit 28 is at an ON level, a freezer relay turns into ON to put a freezer into an ON state. Therefore, if the ON and OFF periods of the freezer are preset so as to minimize the temperature gradient of a rotor, the duration while the freezer is ON is shortened. Consequently, the freezer works as if it were miniaturized in volume. As a result, a temperature fluctuation in relation to the preset temperature of the rotor becomes small, and high-accuracy centrifugal separation can be done.

    • PURPOSE: To increase the separation capacity of the titled separator and to separate more particles for a short period by providing the other one outlet passage to a sectorial slanted part of the middle between an inlet and an outlet of a separation chamber.
CONSTITUTION: A bypass port 12 and a duct outlet 11 communicating thereto are provided to the middle of a sectorial chamber of a separation chamber. Thereby the particles distributed in the part of small volume are optionally flowed out from the bypass port 12 and the limit of number of the particles is enlarged.
