    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptor in which the voltage of a battery pack is converted to enable safe use of an electric tool and efficiently, an assembly of the battery pack of the adaptor, and the electric tool with the same. SOLUTION: When the battery pack 100 having an output voltage of 14.4 V that is connectable to the electric tool in a sliding manner is used as a power supply source for the electric tool 200 that is connectable to the battery pack in an insertion manner and has a rated voltage of 12 V, the electric tool and the battery pack are connected to each other via the adaptor 1. The adaptor 1 has an FET 31 that is switched at a desired duty of a predetermined frequency. The battery pack 100 and the electric tool 200 are connected or disconnected to or from each other by the switching operation, thereby dropping the output voltage of the battery pack 100. For example, by switching the FET 31 by a pulse signal having 83% duty, the power supply source for the battery pack 100 of 14.4 V is dropped to 12 V by the adaptor 1 prior to output to the electric tool 200.       SOLUTION: The adaptor 7 is furnished with: an insertion part 7B having a terminal inserted into a power tool main body and electrically connected to it; a pair of rails 7e to insert the battery pack in a direction roughly orthogonal with the inserting direction of the insertion part 7B; an operation side part 8A constituting a tool side latch means 8 to connect and disconnect to and from the power tool main body; and a receiver side part (engaging groove 7f) constituting a battery side latch means to connect and disconnect it to and from the battery pack. The adaptor is characterized by arranging the operation side part 8A of the tool side latch means 8 and the receiver side part (engaging groove 7f) of the battery side latch means in positions different as seen in the inserting direction of the insertion part 7.
