摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate countermeasures even to load fluctuation accompanied with the increase/decrease of the number of servers or the number of clients without making it necessary to provide any device for managing the whole system, and to make all servers autonomously adjust loads, and to attain load distribution and averaging in a plurality of servers, and to attain power saving by shifting to a sleep status or normal status. SOLUTION: A server device has a common group IP address in a server group including a plurality of servers (a), b and c. Each server measures the load of the processing of its own server, and holds an operating status, load information and sleep conditions or the like for each of the servers of the group, and communicates information with each other according to load fluctuation or the like in the group. Each server accepts processing according to the load status for a processing request using the group IP address from a PC. Each server turns off its own main power source by making a sleep contact in the group, and shifts to a sleep status that only an auxiliary power source is turned on according to decision based on the load status and the sleep conditions properly.
