    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial gap motor which is low in iron loss (efficient) and is low-cost, with high quality soft magnetic materials arranged perfectly suitably, by fulfilling a reduction in torque pulsation, sine wave realization of an induced voltage and an improvement in design flexibility.
      SOLUTION: In the axial gap motor, in which a stator and a rotor are counterposed across a space, stator teeth, which constitute the stator, each include a stator tooth barrel 101, a stator tooth end 102, which is combined with the stator tooth barrel 101, and a stator coil 2, which is arranged around the barrel 101 of the stator tooth. The stator tooth barrel 101 is constituted of a wound core where an amorphous foil band is rolled. The stator tooth end 102 is constituted of a compact of dust core, and has a facing plane which faces the rotor, and the sectional area of a plane vertical to the rolling axis of the amorphous foil band is larger than the sectional area of a plane vertical to the rolling axis of the amorphous foil band of the stator tooth barrel 101.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient and compact axial gap type dynamo-electric machine simultaneously meeting miniaturization of axial gap type dynamo-electric machines and high strength of core retention.
      SOLUTION: In the axial gap type dynamo-electric machine 101, a stator 2 is sandwiched with a prescribed gap for oppositely disposing rotors 3 along an axial direction of a rotor shaft 1. The stator 2 includes: a plurality of rod-like stator cores 22 disposed along a circumferential direction with the axis of the rotor shaft 1 as the center axis while directing its axial direction toward the axial direction of the rotor shaft 1; a disk-like core retention member 21 including a plurality of holes or grooves in nearly the same shape as the sectional shape of the stator core 22 along a circumferential direction with the axis of the rotor shaft 1 as the center axis; and a coil 23 wound around the stator core 21. The stator core 22 is inserted into the holes or grooves of the core retention member 21, and is fixed and held near the center in the axial direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-efficiency multiple phase claw-pole type motor with a claw magnetic pole easy to manufacture.
      SOLUTION: In the stator core, two or more claw magnetic poles are formed, by using a claw part extending in an axial direction and having each magnetic pole face opposite with a minute gap with a rotor, a radial-direction yoke part extending from the claw part to the outer diameter side, and an outer circumferential yoke, extending from the diameter directional yoke part to the same direction as that of the claw part. The claw magnetic poles are arranged mutually in a circumferential direction, in such a way that the top end of the claw part is made to face the radial-direction yoke part of the adjoining claw magnetic pole in the stator core. A stator is formed, by inserting an annular coil, between the claw magnetic poles adjoining the stator core in the multiple phase claw-pole type motor. The claw magnetic pole is formed by compressing magnetic powder; and at the same time, the claw magnetic pole is formed by compressed powder magnetic core with DC magnetization characteristics of magnetic flux density of 1.7 teslas or higher, when a magnetic field of 10,000 A/m is applied.
