SOLUTION: A second laminated body 26 includes: a second substrate 32; a circuit layer 34 including a thin film transistor 36 formed on the surface of the second substrate 32 facing a liquid crystal layer 18; an electrode 66 for driving the liquid crystal layer 18; a wire 62 electrically connected to the electrode 66; and one or more organic insulation layers 52 arranged between the circuit layer 34 and the wire 62. A recess 54 using a pair of second regions 58 as the bottom surface is formed on a surface of one organic insulation layer 52 or the organic insulation layer 52 closest to the wire 62 facing the liquid crystal layer 18 so that the pair of second regions 58 lower than a first region 56 is formed on both sides of the first region 56. The wire 62 has a projection 64 erecting from the pair of second regions 58 by passing above the first region 56 and the pair of second regions 58. A spacer 30 faces the projection 64 of the wire 62.
