    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping apparatus for working a disk which is provided with a disk alignment mechanism capable of holding a speedily-rotated and highly accelerated and decelerated disk without slippage and capable of aligning the disk precisely, and to provide a disk working apparatus.
      SOLUTION: The clamping apparatus is provided with: a motor hub 1 which has a motor for disk rotation, has a disk mounting surface on the upper surface, and has ventilation paths 7 formed communicating with a plurality of openings provided in the disk mounting surface; a clamp shaft 2 which is pivotally connected with the motor of the motor hub and projects upward from the upper surface of the motor hub; a magnet 5 provided at a section which is the upper surface of the motor hub and the periphery of the clamp shaft; friction members 4 provided at positions which are on the disk mounting surface of the motor hub and in contact with the lower surface of the disk; a clamp 3 which fits into the clamp shaft to penetrate it, magnetically fits with the magnet, and has a tapered part reduced in diameter toward the lower end; and an air supply means which communicates with the ventilation paths in the motor hub and jets air into the ventilation paths.

In addition, at the time of execution of the CAV method, a laser output value is controlled in accordance with the linear velocity of the laser spot.
