摘要： PURPOSE:To avoid elongation and stress in an optical fiber, by fixing an optical fiber meandered along a band holder, and storing it in a pipe. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber 1 which is meandered in a specific pitch and width is fixed from both sides with a band shape holder 2 such as sticky plastic tape. This is drawn in an aluminum pipe 3, and a conductor core wires 4 such as aluminum wires or aluminum coated steel wires are twisted around the pipe 3 to obtain an optical fiber composite type overhead line. When the overhead line is elongated with tension, the plastic tape is elongated and the optical fiber becomes in a straight line shape, allowing to almost zero the elongation of the optical fiber and to prevent the increase in the transmission loss.

摘要： PURPOSE:To avoid the stress exerted to an optical fiber, by storing an optical fiber formed in spiral in a pipe-shaped rigid body. CONSTITUTION:A heat insulation braid 2 is made at the inside of a pipe-shaped rigid body 1 made of aluminum. An optical fiber 3 formed in spiral in it is stored and the optical fiber 3 is supported with a sponge type spacer 5. The pipe-shaped rigid body 1 thus constituted is taken as an optical unit and aluminum coated steel wires are arranged around it to constitute a composite cable. Thus, the application of a stress on the optical fiber can be avoided even with a tension exerted to the cable and thermal adverse effect can not be given to the optical fiber through heat insulation braid.
