    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel refrigerator capable of reducing as much as possible heat leakage to the outside through a door of the refrigerator.SOLUTION: A packing 20 is interposed for tight fitting between a door 18 formed of hard urethane foam and a box body 24. A vacuum heat insulation material 40 which extends to the outside of the packing and then bent to the packing side is embedded in the hard urethane foam. Since the vacuum heat insulation material whose heat insulation performance is higher than that of the hard urethane foam is disposed by bending to the packing side, transfer of the heat from the inside of the door to the outside is suppressed. With a part of the vacuum heat insulation material arranged outside the packing part as well, transfer of the heat through the packing is suppressed, capable of reducing as much as possible heat leakage through the door to the outside of the refrigerator.
