SOLUTION: In the electric air cleaner for automobile in which a charging unit 7 having a discharge electrode 5 and an opposing discharge electrode 30, and a dust collection unit 8 having a dust collection electrode 2 and an opposing dust collection electrode 6 are arranged in this order and built in an air passage case 4 having an air inlet 27 and an air outlet 28, an imaginary contour edge 23 in side-view to connect a leading edge 21 of a dust collection plate to a leading edge 22 of the opposing dust collection plate is along a substantially circular arc of the radius of the insulation distance INS from a trailing edge 14 of the discharge plate.

SOLUTION: In the air conditioner for the vehicle, the inside of a cooling unit 1 is provided with an internal/external air switching valve 2 and the first and second air thermo sensors 5, 6 on the upstream and downstream sides of an evaporator 4. A controller 9 uses the on-off action, detected by a lamp switch 10, of an illuminating lamp for a vehicle in place of a solar radiation sensor and adjusts the cold air temperature detected by the sensor 6 for controlling the on-off action of a refrigerant compressor 7 according to the intake air temperature detected by the sensor 5. Additionally, the controller 9 controls the valve 2 in order to switch the valve 2 forcedly to an internal air circulating mode even in the case of the selection of an external air introducing mode when the intake air temperature is a set value or more.

Accordingly, when the solar radiation quantity is over a judgement value, vc2 is selected as the grid voltage (EC) 19, and the displayed figure luminance of the fluorescent display tube 14 of an air conditioner figure display device 200 is set to L2. Since the luminance L2 is larger than the display luminance L1 in the turning-ON of the light switch 3, sufficient luminance is secured even if the lighting traveling is executed during the traveling on a snow road. When the solar radiation quantity is less than a prescribed value, vc1 is selected as the grid voltage (EC) 19, and the displayed figure luminance is set to L1. Accordingly, the influence of the display light on occupants can be prevented during the time from the nightfall to the night.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the proper recognition of the display of a display part by extinguishing a display means by an extinction means after elapse of a prescribed time, when a prescribed key is operated with lights on. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 12, when a key operation signal is inputted, judges that a key operation has been performed, and makes an extinction circuit 13 off for a prescribed time. When the key operation is finished with a light switch on, the circuit 13 is made in an on state. The light emission display of a display part 11 is thus made by a normal light emission for a prescribed time without extinction, and after elapse of the prescribed time it is extinguished and made in a dark tone. This brightens an image display even if a car runs with its lights on when it is bright outside the car, and enables the recognition of the display of the display part 11.

摘要： PURPOSE: To efficiently neutralize charged dust, in an air cleaner consisting of an ionizing part and a dust collection part, by arranging a plurality of sets of electrodes having discharge regions on one side of the ionizing part in op posed relationship and allotting potential of either one of the positive and nega tive of the respective sets to the electrodes having the discharge regions. CONSTITUTION: In an air cleaner 1, sucked dust is charged by an ionizing part 9 to be recovered by a dust collection part 7. In this case, the ionizing part 9 is constituted by alternately arranging positive or negative electrodes 13, 14 having discharge regions 5 in close vicinity to a suction port 11 so as to hold earth electrodes 12 therebetween. The applied voltage of the positive electrodes 13 is set to about 1.5 times the applied voltage of the negative electrodes 14. The respective positive electrodes 20 of the dust collection part 7 are insulated and form a positive high electric field by applying a voltage of about 3.5kV. The dust positively charged in the ionizing part 9 is attracted to the earth electrodes 21 having negative polarity and the negatively charged dust is attracted to the positive electrodes having positive polarity.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the cold air volume in an air conditioner for a vehicle having a face blow-off opening part and a bypass passage in parallel. SOLUTION: A hot water flow rate adjusting system adjusts the blow-off air temperature by adjusting the flow rate of hot water circulating in a heating heat exchanger 25 by a hot water valve 27. When the lowest temperature state is set, the hot water valve 27 is fully closed. Since the hot water valve 27 is fully closed when the lowest temperature is set, cold air can be allowed to flow by making use of an air passage on the heating heat exchanger 25 side. Accordingly, when the lowest temperature state is set, the wind volume can be increased by the volume of cold air passing through the heating heat exchanger 25 in comparison with a conventional device for fully closing the air passage on the heating heat exchanger by an air mix door.
