    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle, capable of performing a good air conditioning function while reducing required costs. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner for the vehicle, the inside of a cooling unit 1 is provided with an internal/external air switching valve 2 and the first and second air thermo sensors 5, 6 on the upstream and downstream sides of an evaporator 4. A controller 9 uses the on-off action, detected by a lamp switch 10, of an illuminating lamp for a vehicle in place of a solar radiation sensor and adjusts the cold air temperature detected by the sensor 6 for controlling the on-off action of a refrigerant compressor 7 according to the intake air temperature detected by the sensor 5. Additionally, the controller 9 controls the valve 2 in order to switch the valve 2 forcedly to an internal air circulating mode even in the case of the selection of an external air introducing mode when the intake air temperature is a set value or more.

    • PURPOSE:To improve visibility of blow-off and suction air modes by a passenger, without the need of making an operation display device large-sized, by providing a means which displays a changing-over condition of a blow-off mode changing-over damper and a suction air mode changing-over damper by means of moving picture images. CONSTITUTION:Cabin temperature Rr inside a cabin detected by a cabin temperature sensor 11, outside temperature Ro detected by an outside temperature sensor 12, solar radiation quantity SS detected by a solar radiation sensor 13 and set temperature VRS preset by a temperature setting control 19 are inputted to the command value computing means 55 of a controller 50 to calculate temperature regulation command value V. The temperature regulation command value V is inputted to a moving picture images display computing means 51, wherein moving picture image command is calculated based on a temperature regulation command value V or a mode changing-over command inputted from operation switches 34, 35, and inputted to the moving picture image display part 41 of an operation display device 40 through a moving picture image display driving means 52. In the moving picture image display part 41, arrow-shaped illustrated indications which show a FACE mode 42, a FOOT mode 43, a DEF mode 44, inside and outside air modes 45, 46 are arranged, and they light on in order toward the tip direction of the arrow mark when moving picture images command is inputted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioner for facilitating selecting operation of an operation mode of an air conditioner and manually renewing the operation mode by will of a user. SOLUTION: This vehicular air conditioner is provided with an ignition switch 48 having a mode selecting dial 42 for indicating manual renewal of the operation mode of the air conditioner and detecting ON/OFF of an engine, an air conditioning switch 49 for detecting either of ON/OFF of the air conditioner, an inside-outside air switching damper 36 for switching the air conditioner to operation in an inside air circulating mode or an outside air circulating mode, a pre-evaporation sensor 51 for detecting an outside air temperature and an air conditioning controller 4 for respectively switching a mode to an outside air introducing mode when the air conditioning switch is turned off or the outside air temperature Te is less than a preset value Ta and the inside air circulating mode when the air conditioning switch is turned on and the outside air temperature is not less than the preset value when the ignition switch 48 is switched to ON from OFF and continuing these automatic selecting modes while the manual renewal is not indicated.
