    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting bracket composing a shock absorber for a steering mechanism so as to be adjusted in a direction where load-deflection characteristics can be easily adjusted, and in particular, peak loads can be easily raised.SOLUTION: The mounting bracket 1 is a support member which causes a steering column 2 to support a vehicle body member 3.
