    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly detect a failure even when an object to be photographed is operated.
      SOLUTION: A region is set up as a mask region which includes an operation portion of the object 40 to be photographed for each frame of an image that is photographed when the normal operation of the object 40 is performed. The mask region is set up for each image frame, which varies in temporarily matching with the operation of the object. A failure detection device 30 detects an abnormality to a region except for the mask region, namely, a portion that is not the operation portion of the object 40, by calculating the difference between a measurement image and a reference image that are synchronized. Thus, the difference calculation for the operation portion of the object 40 is not performed. This can prevent error occurrence in the difference calculation due to the movement of the object. Accordingly, even when the object operates, the failure can be detected properly.
