摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of repairing lining suitable for a reduction furnace, which repairs the lining of high durability and rapidly recovers an operation in the reduction furnace having severe in-furnace environment.SOLUTION: In this method of repairing the lining of the reduction furnace lined with a refractory, an opening 6 is formed by removing the refractories 3', 4' of a range including a lining damage section 5 with a shell 2' of the reduction furnace 1 in hot condition, a heat-resisting plate member 7 is inserted from a furnace outer side of the opening section 6 to close the opening section 6 from an furnace inner side, the heat-resisting plate member 7 is retained on a position at the in-furnace side of the opening section 6, a fibrous refractory 8 is spread on at least a heat-resisting plate member 7 side in the opening section 6, and then a monolithic refractory 9 is charged into a void space in the opening section 6.
