    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a claw-pole rotating electric machine having high electrical characteristics. SOLUTION: A stator 1 is constructed from two stator stages of an A-core 10 having claw magnetic poles 12, 13 and a B-core 20 having claw magnetic poles 22, 23. A coil having a plurality of phases is mixed and disposed on at least one stator stage. The A-core 10 and the B-core 20 are fixed at such a position that phases thereof are shifted at an electrical angle of approximately 90 degrees in a peripheral direction around a rotating shaft. The number of turns of the coil is defined such that the electrical angle phases of magnetic fluxes induced at the stator stages of the upper and lower two stages are shifted by approximately 90 degrees.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating electrical machine, such as a motor and a generator, having improved efficiency.
      SOLUTION: A claw magnetic pole 12 constituting a claw pole motor is constituted by using a laminated iron plate, such as, for example, an electromagnetic steel plate, a cold-rolled steel sheet and an electromagnetic stainless steel, and a magnetic pole is constituted by laminating a magnetic body such as an iron plate in the circumferential direction of a stator. A stator core is disposed so that the laminating direction of the iron plate is set to be parallel with the magnetic flux flowing-in direction from the rotor. Cores adjacent in the circumferential direction have a structure that does not allow them to be connected to each other, electrically or magnetically (laminated by interposing a non-magnetic and non-conductive material between them).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a large-scale manufacturing apparatus is required when a stator of a claw pole type rotary electric machine is made of an annular molding having a plurality of integrally molded claw magnetic poles.
      SOLUTION: A claw pole type rotary electric machine can be manufactured using a small-scale manufacturing apparatus because a stator thereof is divided into blocks for each magnetic pole pair. Further, since a magnetic flux leaking to an adjacent magnetic pole pair can be eliminated, a magnetic flux leaking to an unwanted part can be reduced. Still further, since a stator winding is not covered with a stator, inductance can be reduced.
