摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive flexible joint for a manhole, which can secure cut-off performance over a prolonged period by having proper construction workability and which can suppress damage to the flexible joint itself and damage to the manhole, and an installation method for the flexible joint.SOLUTION: A flexible joint 1 for a manhole, which is installed in a part connecting the manhole and a box culvert 20 together, includes: a stationary plate part 30; a flexible plate part 31 which is formed in such a shape as to continue into the stationary plate part 30 and to be bent; an embedded plate part 32 which continues into the flexible plate part 31 and which is embedded in concrete configuring a side wall of the manhole; and a holding plate part 3 which holds the flexible plate part 31 in a predetermined shape when the flexible plate part 31 is not subjected to an external force.
