摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning method and device that never flaws a liquid crystal display by applying an excessive force, eliminates the need to prepare different jigs and tools by liquid crystal displays, and can accurately place different liquid crystal displays on a work surface by a single device.
SOLUTION: A laser beam is emitted to the work surface 80 from above to form tangents 630 and 640 to a plurality of peripheral edge parts when a liquid crystal display 2 (2I, 2II, ...) is placed at an accurate position, and the liquid crystal display 2 (2I, 2II, ...) is placed based upon the respective tangents 630 and 640. The device is provided with a plurality of laser beam emitting means 63 and 64 capable of emitting laser beams, which are capable of moving either forward and backward or to the right and left and also linear toward the work surface 80, downward above the work surface 80.
