    • PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of irregular white colors produced after a treating object is pulled up, and enable the automation of rising by electrolytically polishing said object at prescribed temps. then maintaining electrode potential until the bath temp. near the object evolving heat attains lower than prescribed temps. and the object is pulled up.
      CONSTITUTION: A treating object of Al or Al alloy is immersed in an electrolytic polishing bath (85% phosphoric acid soln.) of 50W65°C bath temps. Next, while DC electricity is conducted to this object, the object is osicllated, and is thereby electrolytically polished. Next, the electrolyzing voltage is dropped without immediately pulling up the object after the electrolysis, and the bath is maintained at the potential of the extent of preventing chemical attack. When the bath temp. attains ≤70°C near the object evolving heat, the object is pulled up. By this method, the luster of polishing is maintained without producing white turbidity on the surface of the object in a short time after it is pulled up and the object can be rinsed with an automatic rinsing machine.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the brake disc readily and inexpensively by compacting and pressure-contacting stainless steel powder or the like to the annular disc part of a disc substrate formed by a plate material or lower grade steel, ordinary steel or the like and firing this in a furnace. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate blank 1 of lower grade steel or ordinary steel such as SP material or the like, of a square shape cut to the specified size is pressed to be formed with a truncated-cone-form bulging part to one side in the central part. Next, an axle insertion hole 5 is pierced at the center of the mounting part 2 and windows 6... in the tapered part 3 by a press machine, at the same instant of which the outside circumferential unnecessary part 7 is cut off. Mixed powder of stainless steel powder, copper powder, etc. is coated in thin-thickness form on the both front and back surfaces and outside circumferential end edges of the annular disc part 4 assuming the pad sliding parts of the resultant disc 8 and the powder is compacted to form a green compact layer 9. This is charged into a brazing furnace to let the copper braze material melt so that the stainless steel particles are bound to the disc part 4.
