    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the rotor of a dynamo-electric machine in which interference of the rotor shaft and the rotor core can be prevented, even when an end plate is held between the caulked portion of the rotor shaft and the rotor core.SOLUTION: The rotor 1A of a dynamo-electric machine includes a rotor core 10, a magnet insertion hole 15 formed in the rotor core 10, a permanent magnet 3 to be inserted into the magnet insertion hole 15, an end plate 30A covering one end face 11 of the rotor core 10 in the axial direction, and a rotor shaft 20 to be fitted in a shaft hole 13 provided in the center of the rotor core 10. The end plate 30A has a cylinder part 32 held between a caulked portion 25 formed by deforming the rotor shaft 20 and one end face 11 of the rotor core 10 in the axial direction, and located between the caulked portion 25 and the rotor core 10 to extend in the axial direction, and a planar part 33 coupled to the end of the cylinder part 32 on the rotor core 10 side, and butting against the one end face 11 of the rotor core 10 in the axial direction.

An inner peripheral surface 13a of a stator holder 13 has a plurality of holder projections 27 which are intermittently formed in a laminating direction (an axial direction) of a plurality of steel plates 18. When the outer peripheral surface 12a of the stator core 12 is press-fitted into the inner peripheral surface 13a of the stator holder 13, the core projections 25 get in an inner side of the inner peripheral surface 13a of the stator holder 13 by plastically deforming the holder projections 27. Among the plurality of holder projections 27, a holder projection 27 disposed at a laminating direction end 29 has a radial height B1 that is made lower than a radial height B of the other holder projections 27.

The vehicle driving motor 1 includes: a sheet-shaped shock absorber 40 interposed in a gap 30 between the stator 10 and the rotor 20 so as to surround an outer peripheral side surface 20a of the rotor 20; and a packing box 50 for integrating and packing the stator 10 and the rotor 20 while the shock absorber 40 is interposed in the gap 30. The packing box 50 is a member which is used only for transporting and storing the stator 10 and the rotor 20, and the shock absorber 40 is a member which is removed from the gap 30 after assembling the stator 10 and the rotor 20 to a vehicle.
