    • PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly of a heat exchanger while preventing abrasion and corrosion of main bodies of heat exchanger tubes even when fins are projected at an inclination and contrive enhancement of rigidity at the time of an earthquake, by a construction wherein U- shaped parts of heat exchanger tubes are clamped by engaging recessed parts of support members on a tube row basis, and outer end parts of the support members are connected at the outer end of a tube nest. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchanger comprises the support members 12a, 12b which are splittable and are provided at their opposed faces with a plurality of the engaging recessed parts 12a-1, 12b-1 for the heat exchanger tubes 11, whereby the U-shaped parts of the tubes 11 are clamped on a tube row basis, and the outer ends of the members 12 are connected by a connecting member 14 at the outer end of the tube nest. Accordingly, even when ribs 1a are projected at an inclination of 45 deg. against the outer surface of the tube 11, the thing which makes contact with the support member 12 is not the main body of the tube 11 but the ribs 1a, so that the main body is not abraded or corroded. When assemblying, the U-shaped parts of the tubes 11 are fixed by clamping by the splittable support members 12, and the outer end parts of the members 12, whereby the structure can be easily assembled. In addition, since the support members 12 effectively restrict displacements of the plurality of the tubes 11 with different radii of bend at the time of vibrations along the same plane, so that the rigidity in the plane at the time of an earthquake can be enhanced.
