    • PURPOSE:To obtain the solid electrolyte fuel cell, in which distribution of the gas to each generating cell is evened so as to improve the power generating efficiency. CONSTITUTION:In a collector 1' (separator 3'), manifold grooves 11A, 1B are respectively formed with a slope from a starting point in the gas hole 5A side as an inlet or the gas hole 5B side as an outlet to the end in the gas distribution groove 7B side, which is positioned most far from the starting point. This slope is formed so that the depth at the starting point is deepest and that the depth of the end of both the sides are shallowest. Flow quantity of the gas flowing in each gas distribution groove 7 can be evened by providing a slope of the depth in the manifold groove 11 so that the depth of the manifold groove 11 is formed deeper as it comes close to the gas hole 5 and that the depth thereof is formed shallower as it comes far from the gas hole 5. Distribution and supply of the gas to the power generating cells can be thereby evened, and as a result, homogeneous chemical reaction is generated so as to improve the power generating characteristic, and the excellent solid electrolyte fuel cell can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell of low electric resistance by using a heat resistant metal formed with an inorganic conductive film by a detonation flame spraying method or electron beam method as a separator and collector plate. CONSTITUTION:As a separator 3 and collector plates 4, 5 for a fuel cell, a conductive fine film of LaSrMnO3, LaCrO3, etc., is formed by a detonation flame spraying or electron beam method in a heat resistant metal surface of stainless steel SUS310S or the like, and generation of non-conductive oxidized film in the heat resistant metal surface is prevented to give good conductivity. Thus relating to 1MOMEGAR.cm or more specific resistance in the case of not performing film forming, the specific resistance obtains 0.1OMEGAcm or less, to obtain a material excellent in oxidation resistance at a high temperature (1000 deg.C) further with high electric conductivity shown. Accordingly, by using these materials, a solid electrolyte fuel cell of low electric resistance can be manufactured.
