摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the temp. drop of ceramic powder and to improve the density and bonding property of a thermally sprayed ceramic film by feeding the preheated ceramic powder into a heating medium such as combustion flame or plasma jet. CONSTITUTION:The ceramic powder 13 is packed into a carbon crucible 10 and high-frequency current is passed from a high-frequency oscillator 11 to a water-cooled copper pipe 12 wound around the crucible 10 to heat the powder 13 through the crucible 10 to a prescribed temp. On the other hand, the plasma jet 14 is generated between a cathode 7 and an anode 8 in a plasma spraying gun 6 and the powder 12 preheated to the prescribed temp. is supplied through a feed path 9 into the plasma jet 14. The high temp. is thus maintained even if the powder 13 is thermally sprayed at the increased collision rate and the thermally sprayed film of the ceramic powder having good quality is formed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To form a dense deposit wherein a pore is not present practically in the outside layer of sprayed ceramic deposit by forming a sprayed deposit of TiC composite material on the sprayed ceramic deposit which is formed on the surface of a base metal and heat-treating the sprayed deposit of the TiC composite material in a prescribed temp. range. CONSTITUTION:After blast-treating the surface of a base metal consisting of e.g. 25% Cr cast steel to activate it, deposit is formed by thermally-spraying an undercoating agent consisting of e.g. 80% N-20% Cr. Then a sprayed ceramic deposit having about 500mum thickness is formed by thermally-spraying an overcoating agent consisting of e.g. Zr.Y on the sprayed deposit. Furthermore after the sprayed deposit having about 100-200Xm thickness is formed by thermally- spraying a TiC composite material such as TiC 5-50% Co on the ceramic deposit, this sprayed deposit is heat-treated at 500-800 deg.C at 2-5hr. As a result, the improvement of corrosion resistance of the base metal can be attained by preventing surely the penetration of a corrosive gas, a molten salt and a corrosion product, etc. for the surface of the base metal.
